Mark is a former Mechanical Engineer who founded Journeyman Fitness in 2013. Originally from Maryland, Mark got into sports seriously when he began rowing in high school and continued in college at Tufts University.
During his time at Carnegie Mellon University, he began coaching Pine Richland HS Crew and Pittsburgh Rowing Club. This love of coaching and fitness blossomed into the idea of beginning Journeyman Fitness.
Mark is married to Ola, an electrical engineer, and they have a wonderful boy, Leon, who turned 2 in December 2019.
Tyler has been coaching CrossFit since 2015. He played college football at Duquesne.
Kyle is a 2010 graduate of East Stroudsburg University where he’s earned his bachelors degree in Exercise Science. After graduation Kyle trained athletes in Northeast Pennsylvania including numerous All-State Field Hockey and Lacrosse athletes. In September of 2012 he took on a full time position as a sports performance coach with the House of Sports-a youth training facility in Westchester County, New York which has had over 2,500 players train within its first year. After spending 2 years in New York he then moved to Pittsburgh in January of 2015 to take a sports performance coach position at Athletic Republic Pittsburgh, the industry leader in performance sports training with over 120+ training centers and more than 500 performance trainers providing programs appropriate for athletes of all ages.
